So cold is my heart
Ice grows from my eyes
Where does the pain start?
Where does its core lie?
My soul has been torn
By some unknown force
A gaping hole is born
Icy fingers spring forth
What happened to the heat
That I was accustomed to?
Now sadness would be a treat
Compared to what my heart goes through
From my eyes tears run red
They harden into shards
The color drains from my head
The outside world seems so far
Here I lie in Crimson Castle
None will breach my walls
The thought of love is not a hassle
I seal myself from it all
Hidden in a fort of red ice
My heart is frozen black
Though its cold it will suffice
Its chilling protection wont crack
Red towers spiral to the sky
Growing ever higher
Stretching up every time I cry
Rising frozen spires
Jagged pikes line each wall
My courtyard bares no life
Only echoes answer my call
And there is nothing but pain and strife
I rule over everything that I see
For it is my creation
Cold and bleak as it may be
It is my only salvation
My pain is so much
That my towers gouge the sky
Lashing out in their touch
Warmth and kindness they defy
But all this glory takes its toll
Cracks form in the foundation
The stress of my hatred starts to show
The failure in my creation
My towers fall one-by-one
Shattering down to the earth
And in the middle is the one
Who gave it all its birth
My fortress crumbles around me
I accept my inevitable fate
Crushing slabs of ice fall upon me
I am destroyed by my own hate
